SPEAKER/S:Kenji Ono (IGDA Japan) DAY / TIME / LOCATION:Thursday 9:00-10:00 Room 114, North Hall TRACK / FORMAT:Production / Roundtable DESCRIPTION:In this session, we want to show and discuss what IGDA Japan can do, and should do for game developers communities and game industry of the world and what IGDA Japan expect other IGDA chapters and SIGs to do to cooperate with us. We have 9 SIGs and hold 40 seminars in a year. Our next mission is to be a hub to share information between Japanese and world game developers. But we cant do it alone. We must go over the language barrier and we need much more cooperation of game developers communities of the world. TAKEAWAY:Attendees will learn more about the IGDA Japan including the actions of each SIG, and the current issues of Japanese videogame industry. And in this session, It is also discussed how to share information more effectively and rapidly between Japan and other countries.
