「International Mobile Gaming Awards」は2004年に設立され今回で8回目を迎える国際アワード。全部で６部門あり、それぞれ5つのノミネートタイトルが選出され、その中から一般投票によって各大賞が決定される。今回の特徴は、大部分のタイトルが既存の大手ゲーム会社のものではなく小規模のゲーム会社や独立系スタジオの作品であること、30タイトル中5タイトルがフィンランドのタイトルであることなど小規模＆小国発のタイトルの躍進が目立った。また「Most Innovative Game」部門に昨年の「センス・オブ・ワンダー ナイト」にて発表された雑魚雑魚製作のiOSアプリ「KuraKuraMaze（暗暗迷路）」がノミネートされているのも見逃せない。全部門とノミネート作品は以下のとおり。
